Job summary

CFG Health is seeking a Health Services Administrator (HSA) to lead the daily operations of the health services unit within a correctional facility. The role ensures safe, compliant medical, mental health, and behavioral health services per contractual obligations and accreditation standards.

The HSA will supervise nursing and clinical staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with facility leadership and regional teams on quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice (or eligibility).
• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years clinical healthcare experience; correctional care preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in leadership/supervisory role.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day health services operations in the facility.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation meet needs.
• Monitor quality indicators and compliance with standards.
• Supervise nursing and clinical staff; conduct evaluations.
• Develop and enforce clinical policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with regional leadership on quality initiatives.
• Manage unit budget and supply / equipment orders.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
