Job summary

Orange County Government is seeking an RN to provide medical care and clinical oversight at the Orange County Jail in Orlando. The role includes conducting physical assessments, sick call triage, and signing orders with SOP compliance, under supervision of the nursing supervisor.

Responsibilities include medication monitoring, emergency response, and staff education. Requires Florida RN license and ability to work nights/weekends; computer proficiency is expected.

• Requires current Florida RN license.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Proficient in computer use.

Responsibilities

• Monitors medication administration timeliness per SOP and reports variances to the provider.
• Conducts physical assessments and triages sick calls per SOP, referring to providers as needed.
• Performs physicals, tests and triage per SOP; maintains unit inspections compliance.
