Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
• Hands-on CPR certification from AHA/ARC/ASHI is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care for inmate patients in a correctional facility per clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Administers medications and treatments; maintains documentation in EMR and MAR.
• Obtains vital signs, conducts wound care, IV therapy, and specimen collection; responds to emergencies.
• Orders medications and supplies from pharmacy; maintains medical logs and records.
• Ensures proper transfer of orders to EMR and MAR; maintains inmate medical records.
