Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and apply the rules and procedures for operating a correctional facility.
• Ability to supervise inmates and react quickly and calmly in emergencies.
• Experience with building maintenance tasks and utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and support daily facility operations.
• Assist maintenance supervisors with upkeep and system repairs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and escort service personnel.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance tools and supplies.
• Respond to Level 2 emergencies and communicate professionally with staff and inmates.
