Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems in Bridgewater, MA is seeking a Counselor responsible for educating inmates in the Department of Correction approved curriculum and for accurate case records. The role requires working hours to meet organizational needs, which may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications include a BA/MA or 2 years of equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education or related field; DOC experience and/or alcohol/drug certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring inmates are provided with education in the curriculum approved by the Department of Correction and accurate written documentation in case records.
• Participating in a multi-disciplinary team meeting on a weekly basis or as directed.
• Working hours to meet business needs, including evenings and weekends when required.
