Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain essential firearms safety knowledge.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Books and releases, fingerprints, photographs and oversees feeding of inmates.
• Maintains order and security of inmates and jail facilities.
• Operates inmate visitation and phone systems.
• Performs searches of inmates and cells for contraband.
• Distributes medications under supervision of nursing staff.
• Completes reports and testifies when needed.
• Responds to emergencies and incidents within the facility.
