Job summary

The State of Vermont seeks an innovative data analyst to join the Department of Corrections Research and Data Unit. You will develop queries (SQL), use Excel, and perform statistical analyses to fulfill data requests and reporting needs.

You will collect, clean, analyze, and report data to support data-driven decisions, present to groups, and handle multiple deadlines while ensuring privacy of confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, data analytics, or related field AND two (2) years or more experience in data administration, business analysis, or statistics.
• OR Four (4) years or more experience in data administration, business analysis, or statistics.

Responsibilities

• Collect, extract, clean, analyze, and report a variety of data to support data-driven decision-making.
• Present data to groups and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
