Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and able to possess a firearm.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor inmates/offenders in a variety of situations and activities.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations governing inmate/offender conduct.
• Document inmate/offender behavior, status and movement.
• Search inmates'/offenders' person, quarters and work areas for contraband.
• Operate/monitor security equipment to control movement of people.
• Oversee housing areas including sanitation, meals, laundry and supplies.
• May manage visiting areas and ensure rule compliance.
• Transport inmates/offenders to community destinations as needed.
• Suggest improvements to security procedures where appropriate.
• Overtime may be required, including weekends and holidays.
