Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and high school education or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to legally possess a firearm and ammunition.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inmates/offenders and enforce facility rules.
• Document behavior, status and movement of inmates/offenders.
• Operate or monitor security equipment and control movement of inmates, staff and the public.
• Oversee housing areas including sanitation, meals, laundry, and daily logs.
• May supervise visiting areas and transportation of inmates/offenders.
• Identify improvements to security procedures.
