Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university recognized by US DoEd or CHEA.
• One year of social service or corrections experience.
• Two years of college (60 semester or 90 quarter credits) as an alternative.
• Three years of experience in adult corrections, juvenile corrections, rehabilitation or social casework.
• Master’s degree substitutes for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adult incarcerated individuals and determine documentation and programming needs.
• Administer risk assessment tools and collect information for facility plans and risk management.
• Prepare and submit Offender Release Plans and advise on community resources for transitions.
• Coordinate with internal and external entities for re-entry into the community.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with incarcerated individuals and attorneys as needed.
• Facilitate offender change programs as directed.
