West Virginia Corrections is seeking a Corrections Case Manager to join a team serving inmates in a correctional facility. You will manage an assigned caseload, provide individual or group counseling, and help develop and implement treatment programs.

Responsibilities include writing reports, gathering placement and court information, coordinating with legal representatives, treatment providers and the court, and serving as liaison between inmates and the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in listed fields from an accredited college.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in inmate counseling, security or treatment in a correctional setting or related fields.
• Master's degree may substitute for the required experience.
• Five years of experience at Correctional Officer 2 or higher may substitute for training and experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide services to an assigned caseload of inmates and manage overall inmate needs.
• May perform individual and/or group counseling and assist in treatment program development.
• Write reports and recommendations regarding inmate behavior, placement and court information.
• Act as liaison between the inmate, facility, legal representatives, family, treatment providers and court officials.
