Responsibilities

• Attend Training Academy to become a Certified Jailer.
• Under close supervision, perform Corrections Officer duties including booking, observing, transferring and transporting inmates with attention to health, safety, and security.
• Conduct inspections, head counts, inmate searches, and safety checks.
• Intervene and resolve crisis situations such as fights or medical emergencies.
• Restrain combative inmates and supervise inmate meals and cleaning duties.
• Maintain records, conduct safety inspections, and assist with inmate personal needs.
