Job summary

The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) seeks a Recovery Services Behavioral Healthcare Provider Supervisor for Richland Correctional Institution in Mansfield. This hourly, exempt role leads the Recovery Services program and uses CBT techniques to treat incarcerated individuals with substance use disorders.

The position requires strong supervision, policy development, budget oversight and collaboration with statewide committees.

Qualifications

• Must possess state licenses for behavioral health practice in Ohio.
• Supervision/leadership experience in correctional or behavioral health settings.
• Background check and transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Recovery Services program.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the program.
• Assist with program budget planning and quality assurance activities.
• Recruit, interview, train and make hire recommendations for Recovery Services staff.
• Directs and manages treatment activities of the Recovery Services staff.
• Provide AOD treatment services including planning, notes, and counseling.
• Represent the institution on statewide committees for AOD issues.
