Job summary

The State of Ohio invites applications for Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 at Richland Correctional. This permanent full-time role offers starting pay around $70,000, located at 1001 Olivesburg Road, Mansfield, OH.

Licensed professionals provide clinical care, supervise junior staff, and coordinate mental health services within a correctional environment. Eligible candidates will hold LISW, LPCC, or IMFT licensure.

Qualifications

• Licensed LISW, LPCC or IMFT by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
• Experience delivering behavioral health care in a correctional setting preferred.
• Ability to document assessments and treatment plans per policy.

Responsibilities

• Completes detailed screens, mental health evaluations and crisis services within scope.
• Provides clinical direction to lower-level workers and coordinates treatment teams.
• Conducts advanced practice interventions and manages caseloads.
• Writes reports, discharge summaries, and treatment plans per policy.
• Maintains contact with families and community agencies as needed.
• Performs psychosocial assessments as part of treatment planning.
• Participates in supervision, training, and peer review.
