Qualifications

• Minimum age 20 years; statutory requirements apply.
• Possession of 30 semester hours or high school diploma/GED.
• Twenty-four months of correctional/security experience.
• GED completion tests per Oklahoma standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and supervision to inmates in diverse situations.
• Supervise inmate work crews, escort inmates, and control equipment.
• Patrol areas, observe inmate conduct, manage discipline.
• Maintain order during meals, programs, and recreation.
• Operate security equipment and conduct inmate counts and searches.
• Prepare written reports on inmate behavior and movement.
• Participate in escape/apprehension teams and incident responses.
