Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to inmate patients within a correctional facility, applying the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, quality outcomes.

The role requires graduating from an accredited nursing program, holding a current RN license, and strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. On-call shifts may be required; on-site work within a correctional environment is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized nursing care to inmate patients per protocols.
• Perform assessments across intake, care units, emergencies, clinics.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor, report reactions and status changes; document thoroughly.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain infection control and regulatory compliance.
