Job summary

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current, unrestricted license to practice as Registered Nurse in the state the facility is located.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to inmate patients per nursing protocols.
Perform assessments in various facility settings (intake, health care unit, housing units, clinics).
Collaborate with primary care and other health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Coordinate and/or administer medications and treatments for inmate patients.
Promote safety and maintain documentation and reporting per regulations.
Care for inmates across a range of health concerns, from minor to major.
