Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) in Nebraska seeks an RN II PRN for Lancaster County Detention Center. Provides nursing care using the nursing process, directs team members, and collaborates with multidisciplinary staff to deliver patient-centered care in a secure correctional setting.

Qualifications

• RN with a minimum of one year of experience.
• RN licensure in SC or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• BSN preferred; if not held, enrollment in BSN within two years and completion within four years.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process.
• Direct and lead other assigned team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to provide age-appropriate care.
• Deliver care in a correctional setting following safety and security protocols.
