MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) seeks a qualified RN II to deliver nursing care in a correctional setting at the Horry County Detention Center. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

This PRN, hourly position requires compliance with facility protocols, supervision of care staff, and adherence to PREA and security standards while maintaining high-quality clinical practice.

Competenze

• RN with bachelor's degree preferred; associates may be enrolled in BSN within 2 years and complete within 4 years.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Current SC Board of Nursing licensure or compact state licensure; BLS required.

Mansioni

• Provide nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and lead other team members, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide patient-centered care addressing physical, emotional, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
• Maintain documentation in correctional medical records and ensure chain-of-custody when applicable.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety within the secure perimeter.
