The Washington State Department of Corrections seeks a Psychology Associate to serve as a Primary Therapist at Monroe Correctional Complex, providing diagnostic assessments, treatment, and crisis services for incarcerated individuals with mental health needs. Supervision by a licensed Psychologist supports evidence-based care per the DOC Health Plan.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor (LAAC) required or ability to apply within 30 days of hire.
• Official Washington State licensure as a Mental Health Clinician preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide diagnostic assessment and psychotherapeutic services (individual and group) per DOC Health Plan.
• Consult with unit/custody staff on treatment recommendations and safety planning.
• Prepare and maintain documentation per policy; participate in trainings and MDTs.
• Coordinate transition and release needs with psychiatric social work and other staff.
