Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services or criminal justice field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in corrections or related work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise rehabilitation programs for offenders.
• Develop and maintain program activities at the facility level and coordinate with custody staff.
• Coordinate programs with custody and other facility staff; conduct work release investigations if relevant.
