Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Be 21 years of age or older and United States citizen
• Meet DPSST Physical Standards
• Pass NTN test with a minimum score of 70 percent in all areas
• No substance abuse and possess a valid driver's license
• Background investigation and CJIS checks will be conducted

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and safety within the institution
• Enforce rules and regulations and supervise activities
• Supervise adults in custody and monitor living quarters for contraband
• Assist in training and participate in Field Training Evaluation Program (FTEP)
