Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• BAT certification or associate's degree evidence required during hiring.

Responsibilities

• Stands watch and controls movement of inmates.
• Supervises inmate work details and routing of inmates.
• Inspects quarters for safety and contraband; conducts searches.
• Keeps records and completes reports on inmate progress and incidents.
• Explains rules and assists inmates with programs and services.
