Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include an associate or bachelor's degree in criminal justice and experience in corrections.

Responsibilities

• Keep the facility safe and secure through inmate checks and security rounds.
• Respond to emergencies with crisis-intervention techniques.
• Oversee intake and release, fingerprinting, and property management.
• Supervise recreation, meals, medication distribution, visits, and inmate movement.
• Liaise between agencies and courts, conduct NCIC checks, manage warrants.
• Maintain detailed records and keep communications equipment functioning.
• Contribute to a respectful environment for inmates, staff, and the public.
