Position Details

• Location: Tuscaloosa County Jail
• Position: Full-Time RN Registered Nurse
• Schedule: 12-hour Day Shift Rotation 7a - 7:30p with Alternating Weekends
• Sign-on & Retention Bonus available

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, collaborating with Physician/Provider(s)
• Administer prescribed medications following nursing standards & correctional regulations
• Follow established treatment plans
• Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and apply critical thinking
