• Location: Tuscaloosa County Jail
• Position: FT Registered Nurse Days
• Schedule: 12 hr Day Shift Rotation 7a - 7:30p with Alternating Weekends
• Compensation: $30.00/hr - $33.00/hr (based on skills and experience)
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance, PTO, Holidays, 401K, and more
• Sign-on & Retention Bonus: Yes

Responsibilities

1. Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within scope of practice
2. Administer prescribed medications according to standards and regulations
3. Follow established treatment plans
4. Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and apply critical thinking
