The South Dakota Department of Corrections is hiring for a full-time Registered Nurse at Mike Durfee State Prison, Springfield. The role involves three 12-hour shifts per week with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

A $10,000 incentive is offered along with full state benefits and SDRS retirement. Applicants must hold a current SD nursing license (or from an eNLC state) and be able to maintain confidential inmate medical records, administer medications, and support treatment

• Current, valid Registered Nurse license from SD Board of Nursing or eNLC.
• Ability to document accurately and maintain inmate medical records.
• Strong communication and teamwork during shifts.
