Job summary

CoreCivic is hiring a Correctional Mental Health Therapist in Cushing, Oklahoma to provide non-medical mental health services within the facility. You will assess inmates, develop treatment plans, document progress, and ensure confidentiality in a high-security environment.

The role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT), with at least five years of clinical experience including corrections. A valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health field from an accredited program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Oklahoma (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
• Minimum five years of clinical experience, including two in a comparable role.
• A valid driver's license preferred unless contract requires otherwise.

Responsibilities

• Perform mental health screenings and assessments for inmates.
• Develop and adjust individual treatment plans and document care.
• Maintain confidential records and ensure data integrity.
• Provide crisis intervention and evidence-based therapy.
• Deliver counseling and psychosocial support to offenders.
