Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Current licensure including one of LCPC, LPCC, LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LAC, or LSW.
• Correctional mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts intakes, evaluations, and assessments for inmates or clients and makes referrals to medical staff.
• Coordinates with MD, prescriber, and psychiatrist to ensure evaluation and care.
• Provides crisis intervention and suicide risk management.
• Develops and monitors treatment plans for inmates on caseload.
• Documents services with accurate, accessible notes and participates in treatment planning.
