Qualifications

• Master's level education in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Required licensure includes one of: LCPC, LPCC, LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LAC, LSW.
• Correctional mental health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes, evaluations, and assessments for inmates requesting mental health services and referrals to nursing as needed.
• Identify symptoms and treatment needs and coordinate with healthcare and security staff.
• Collaborate with MD/psychiatrist and other staff for patient evaluation and care.
