Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Dallas is seeking a Program Therapist to provide intake, assessments and therapeutic services for incarcerated individuals through the diversion program. The role includes clinical screenings, advocacy, and evidence-based interventions to address mental health issues within the county jail setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field.
• Licensure as LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LPC-Intern, LMFT, or LMFT-A.
• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric health care facility experience with group/individual therapies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health evaluations and crisis interventions.
• Coordinate with corrections for discharge planning.
• Develop and lead group treatments on observation units.
• Collaborate with jail staff and re-entry clinicians.
• Maintain confidential records and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide reports and manage data as required.
