Job summary

MEDIKO is seeking a licensed mental health professional to join our correctional healthcare team in Des Moines, WA. You will conduct patient assessments, provide crisis management, and apply DSM‑5 criteria to guide interventions within a structured, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Current, valid state licensure, certificate and/or credentials to practice in applicable role (CMA, LPN, RN, LMHP, etc.).
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's in Healthcare, Nursing, or related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments through interviews, case history reviews, and observational techniques.
• Provide crisis management and short‑term, solution‑focused therapy as needed.
• Utilize DSM‑5 criteria to evaluate and apply interventions.
• Develop and initiate interdisciplinary treatment plans and participate in case management.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff, mental health professionals, and correctional staff to coordinate patient care.
