Job summary

Mediko is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Provider to deliver mental health services in a correctional healthcare setting at the Shasta County Jail in Redding, CA. You will conduct assessments, provide therapy, and develop treatment plans while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with medical and clinical staff.

You should hold an active state LMHP licensure, CPR/BLS, and have 1–3 years of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Current-state LMHP licensure
• CPR/BLS certification required
• 1–3 years in healthcare, preferably corrections

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments through interviews and reviews to determine treatment focus.
• Provide crisis management and short-term therapy as needed.
• Utilize DSM-5 criteria to guide interventions.
• Develop and initiate interdisciplinary treatment plans with the team.
• Collaborate with healthcare and correctional staff to coordinate care.
• Document patient activities and treatment progress.
• Follow policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide clinical supervision as applicable, ensuring oversight of care and documentation.
