Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is hiring Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LCSWs, LCMHCs, etc.) to join the team at Pasco County Detention Center in Land O' Lakes, FL. Full Time, Part Time, and PRN contracts are available.

The role focuses on mental health evaluations, counseling, and coordination with healthcare and security staff to support patient care in a correctional setting. Requires Florida-licensed professionals with CPR and at least 3 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health with active, unrestricted licensure in Florida (LCSW/LCMHC/LMFT/LMHP/LISW, etc.).
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical mental health experience; correctional healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document mental health evaluations and counseling notes.
• Coordinate with healthcare and security staff regarding patient care and release dates.
• Participate in educational activities related to mental health care for patients and staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge of DSM criteria.
• Provide interventions for transition to incarceration and for managing chronic illness.
