NaphCare, Inc. is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our medical team at the Pasco County Detention Center in Land O Lakes, Florida. You will work under a registered nurse with correctional officers and other medical staff to provide care in a secure setting.

The role involves patient assessments, vital signs, procedures per protocol, documentation, ADLs support, wound care, and reporting changes to nurses. Requires CNA certification and BLS, with background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification and state competency exam.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain BLS CPR and First Aid (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and collect health history.
• Record vital signs including BP, temp, pulse, and weight.
• Perform routine procedures per protocols (phlebotomy, EKGs, dressings, wound cultures).
• Document medical history, medications, and treatments.
• Assist with ADLs and mobility, including bathing and dressing.
• Provide wound care and patient education as directed.
• Observe and report changes to supervising nurses.
