Rutgers University Correctional Health Care (UCHC) seeks a Mental Health Clinician II for Southwoods State Prison in Bridgeton, NJ. The role focuses on specialized psychological testing and assessment of adults within the corrections system.

Responsibilities include accurate diagnoses, treatment planning, and providing group, individual, and family therapies. Travel between sites and a valid driver's license are required where applicable.

Formación

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Clinical-Counseling Psychology, or Forensic Psychology.
• Trained in psychological testing and measurement.
• Minimum of two years post master’s experience, may be substituted with a Doctorate.

Responsabilidades

• Completes specialized psychological testing and assessment of clinical needs of adults sentenced to the Department of Corrections.
• Arrives at diagnoses with precision and accuracy by the end of testing and evaluation; develops treatment plans.
• Makes clinically based decisions regarding treatment appropriateness and modality; provides group, individual and family therapies.
• Assesses and makes referrals for higher levels of care as appropriate.
