Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical field (e.g., MA Clinical Psych, MA Counseling, MA Social Work) and applicable licensure.
• Correctional mental health experience is preferred.
• Must maintain licensure and certifications for this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes, evaluations, and assessments for inmates requesting mental health services and refer to nursing as needed.
• Coordinate with MD/psychiatry staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and suicide risk management.
• Develop and supervise treatment plans for inmates on caseload.
• Document services accurately and maintain confidentiality of health records.
