CorrHealth is seeking a qualified mental health professional to deliver clinical services to inmates in a correctional setting. The role focuses on intake assessments, crisis intervention, and coordination with medical and security staff to ensure timely evaluation and appropriate care.

The position requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and current licensure; correctional experience is preferred. The work schedule includes daytime hours with weekend rotation, and duties span treatment

Formación

• Master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling, social work or related field.
• Current licensure: LCPC, LPCC, LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LAC, LSW.
• Correctional mental health experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts intakes, evaluations, and assessments for inmates referred by security, healthcare, or community staff; makes referrals to nursing services based on symptoms.
• Identifies mental health symptoms and needs; makes housing/watch recommendations to healthcare and security staff.
• Coordinates with MD/Prescriber/Psychiatrist to ensure patient evaluation and care.
• Provides non-pharmacological treatments when appropriate.
• Provides crisis intervention and suicide risk management.
• Provides clinical supervision and treatment plans for inmates on caseload.
