Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our correctional health care team. You will provide safe patient care under a registered nurse, administer medications, perform assessments, and support medical procedures in a fast-paced environment within a correctional facility.
The position is full-time with day shifts, a rotating schedule, and hourly pay between $28.00 and $32.00, including applicable shift differentials.
Formación
- Current Texas Vocational Nurse License or transfer within 120 days.
- Current CPR certification.
- Graduate of an approved vocational nursing program.
- New grads must pass NCLEX-PN on first attempt.
- No experience required.
Responsabilidades
- Administer medications and monitor patient health.
- Identify and report changes in patient conditions.
- Prepare and operate medical equipment for procedures.
- Document patient assessments and interventions in the EHR.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies and safety standards.
- Assist in medical emergencies and triage patients.
