Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Conroe is seeking a Correctional LVN to provide direct nursing care within the Montgomery County Jail health facility, under RN supervision.
The role requires current Texas Vocational Nurse license or eligibility, CPR certification, and graduation from an approved nursing program with NCLEX-PN on first attempt for new grads. This full-time, hourly position features standard documentation and care coordination.
Correctional LVN
Employees in this classification are responsible for performing awide variety of patient care activities in an assigned correctionalfacility. They function within their legal scope of practice and inaccordance with the policies and procedures of the organization andpractice setting. Work is performed under the direction of a registered nurse as part of a total correctional managed healthcare team in providing safe and competent care to patients.
