Location: Alamance County Jail

Open Position: Full-Time LPN or RN

Schedule: 12-hour Night Shift Rotation 6p - 6a w/Alternating Weekends

Shift Differential + Sign-on and Retention Bonus

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, as well as with Physician/Provider(s)
• Administer prescribed medications according to nursing standards & correctional regulations
• Follow established treatment plans
• Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and critical thinking
