Job summary

Armor Health in Stryker, OH, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Corrections Center of NW Ohio (CCNO). This role provides holistic nursing care in a correctional setting, collaborating with physicians and allied health staff to deliver timely, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Active LPN license in state.
Current CPR certificate.
Proficient with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
Assist providers with examinations, treatments, tests, and procedures.
Obtain patient health history, vital signs, and administers TB skin tests.
Conduct lab tests and relay results to the physician or RN.
Ensure patient is receiving proper care for injuries or conditions.
Review patient charts and report observed symptoms, reactions, and changes in patient’s condition.
Coordinate patient transfers to medical facilities or outside providers; administer medications; document all contacts using the POMR format.
