Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is hiring Full Time LPNs to join our team at the Marion County Jail in Ocala, FL. You will work with correctional officers and medical professionals to provide quality care to incarcerated individuals in a controlled environment.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, vital signs, wound care, medication administration, and medical record documentation in TechCare. Competent in emergency response and patient education is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Active LPN/LVN license in the state.
• Active BLS CPR certification required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Adherence to Code of Conduct and facility policies.
• Pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and obtain health history.
• Take vital signs (BP, temp, weight).
• Provide wound care and dressing.
• Administer medications and monitor effects.
• Maintain medical records in the electronic system TechCare.
• Observe patient health and mental health status.
• Provide emergency first aid.
• Schedule hours: 11:00am-11:30pm.
