Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is hiring LPNs/LVNs to join our team in Hamilton, AL, to support healthcare services for incarcerated individuals. Qualifications

Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
High school diploma or GED.
Actively state-certified as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred).
Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Performing patient assessments, interviewing patients about health problems, medication history.
Taking vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
Providing wound care, cleaning and bandaging injured areas.
Administering medications, including injections and monitoring reactions.
Maintaining medical records in the electronic health record, TechCare.
