Job summary

MindCare Solutions is seeking Licensed Mental Health Providers (LCSW, LPCC) for correctional settings in Adelanto, CA. Roles include intake assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention within a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers onsite work with flexible schedule options (PT, FT, PRN) and compensation up to $60 per hour, dependent on contract type. CA licensure is required or active. Spanish fluency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Provider (LCSW, LPCC) in CA.
• Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience (correctional, forensic, or inpatient experience preferred).
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Experience conducting assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, including suicide prevention.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for incarcerated individuals.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans with the care team.
• Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Perform crisis intervention, including suicide risk assessments and safety planning.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation per guidelines.
• Collaborate with medical staff and custody staff for safe care.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and discharge planning.
• Adhere to correctional healthcare regulations and credentialing requirements.
• Provide psychoeducation on mental health and medication adherence.
• Coordinate with community providers upon release.
