Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library science or information studies from a graduate program accredited by the American Library Association.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct library program for inmates.
• Develop library policies and programs and prepare operational budgets.
• Maintain, organize and supervise the circulation of library materials.
• Provide readers' advisory services based on knowledge of reviews and bibliographies.
• Select, acquire, and organize library materials for convenient access.
• Coordinate library orientation for class participants and instructors.
