Management & Training Corporation (MTC) invites applications for a full-time inmate counselor at the Bay Correctional Facility in Panama City, FL. You will plan, coordinate, and implement professional counseling programs for assigned inmates in compliance with ACA, FDOC, and DMS directives.
The role requires an associate degree in counseling or related field, with a bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience preferred. Valid Florida driver's license is required unless waived.
Pay: $21.00/hr.

Reports to the case manager supervisor. Responsible for planning, coordinating, developing and implementing a professional individual and group counseling program for assigned inmates in compliance with American Correctional Association (ACA) standards, Management & Training Corporation (MTC), Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC) and Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) directives.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
Associate’s degree in counseling or related field required. Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year related experience preferred. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements. Valid driver’s license in the state of Florida with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements.
