Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a jail kitchen, ensuring meals align with production plans and HACCP standards. You will train workers, coordinate tasks, and maintain sanitation and safety across shifts.

This role requires comfort working in a correctional facility, with background checks and security clearance, and offers competitive hourly pay plus strong benefits.

Formación

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with inmates is a plus.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members in a correctional facility.
• Food safety certification required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Good judgment and tact.
• Follow basic safety procedures and policies.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to production and temperature logs and Aramark guidelines.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark standards.
• Assist in preparation and serving of meals.
• Print and distribute recipes; train on cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are met.
• Obtain daily population counts and review with staff.
• Adhere to security policies and secure storage areas and keys.
• Manage work procedures, schedules and sanitation plans.
• Assist in inventory, receiving and storing food items; requisition orders.
• Follow HACCP policies and food handling procedures.
