Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen operations inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve a variety of food items, follow menus, and use a range of utensils and machines in food preparation.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and ideally prior institutional food service or restaurant experience. The role is on-site with opportunities to grow in a structured program.

Qualifications

• Required: high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes and portion to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for others.
• Stand, walk and lift as part of a long shift.
