Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with inmates is a plus.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and policies.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and logs per Aramark standards.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Train and direct inmates in cooking procedures and recipe use.
• Verify portions and accommodate dietary requirements.
• Maintain security by following policies and securing storage areas.
